the grove farmers market

9 Jul

Perhaps nothing is more of a quintessential europa/LA cross over than the famous farmers market at The Grove.

Despite the fact that the mall built up around The Grove is totally generic and touristy, there is something about wandering through the old farmers market that brings back the nostalgia of a different age of Los Angeles.

Farmers started gathering at the same spot in July of 1934 and although celeb sightings and Access Hollywood interviews are somewhat common, the simple beauty of a Bennett’s ice cream cone is not lost on me.

With so much to discover and so many foods to sample, the magic of the farmers market lives on today.
