viva europa

the mantra

It has been more than a year since I left Europe, and I have realized that I have lost most my European sensibilities to the gritty city of LA, which is a very desolate situation indeed.

As a result, blockbuster superhero flicks, big-box mega stores and greasy cheddar slammed between stale tortillas has replaced my former penchant for meaningful films, bustling farmers markets and brief but life-altering encounters with a really great sliver of formage.

The realization that I myself have become boring and over-processed has spurred my desire for the slower, fresher and yes, romanticized lifestyle that in many ways defined my life abroad.

My quest to revive that inspiration will be documented here.

Bon appetite
