Sheesh is this true or what?? Sometimes I think we just forget how simple a bit of exercise is and how far it can take us.
As I dragged my sore and tired booty out of bed at 5:30am this morning, I had to focus on that fact that the next hour of hot yoga was just ONE of the 24 hours that I am given each day.
I try to remind myself that each hour is precious, why would I not take just one for myself…
YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD UPDATE:
I just came across this awesome video on my favorite site The Hairpin.
Watch, learn and enjoy!
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” –Aristotle
dude knows what's up.
I have now been going to hot Moksha Yoga regularly for about 2 weeks and I have to say- I’m hooked. I can see so much truth in Aristotle’s quote. There really is something in the act of repetition that can greatly improve you as a human being. By going two or three days in a row, I found that it was no longer a chore, but rather something I crave. Going regularly has encouraged me to eat healthier and more consciously, as well as make better decisions in my life in general.
So I guess Aristotle really is right, excellence can be achieved, but you might have to get up at 5:30am a few days a week to make it happen…
